We’ve had a few people inquire about Heartbleed and how it affects Glassboard, so I thought I’d take a moment to answer.

In short, we aren’t affected. Glassboard’s backend runs on Microsoft Azure using Windows Server. Windows Server has its own SSL implementation called Secure Channel. You can learn more about Secure Channel and Azure’s security on their blog.

In terms of the mobile apps, neither the iOS nor Android apps ship with OpenSSL, so they should be fine as well. Thanks for using Glassboard! We hope to keep providing you a safe and secure service for a long time going forward.
