Today 2.9 Adds Lion Support, Goes Mac App Store Only.

Carmel, IN — Second Gear is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Today 2.9, the latest version of its popular calendaring application Today. Today makes it easy to get a one day snapshot view of your upcoming events and tasks in a compact window. No iCal required.

Version 2.9 adds support for Apple's new Mac OS X Lion operating system. Today is now a first class Lion citizen supporting sudden termination, improved calendaring support and Apple's new Sandboxing technology for enhanced user security.

Today 2.9 is also an exclusive release for the Mac App Store. Existing customers can update to the Mac App Store version of Today for the transitional price of $9,99 for a limited time. Mac App Store customers will receive Today 3.0 at no additional cost when it is released in the future.

Today 2.9 requires Mac OS X 10.7 or later and can be downloaded from the Mac App Store.
